The Battle of the Oranges was chosen for this project based on the constant, prevalent action that I wished to incorporate into the design.
Design Brief
The Battle of the Oranges, also known as the Carnival of Ivrea, is an annual festival and the largest food fight in Europe.
About the Design
The design mimics classic Italian football posters and draws direct attention to the active nature of the event. The most prevalent color in the design is the blue background and duotone figures that help draw attention to the bright orange in their hands.
